Unlike simple key-value stores, we fully support indexing and range queries, offering relational functionality. Our cursor API allows efficient bulk record operations and rapid searches.

We can improve performance by giving developers the opportunity to plant simple hints that indicate to GenieDB how to intelligently group records and most efficiently batch reads and writes from and to the database.

GenieDB’s data model is highly flexibility and is a superset of the relational model able to support polymorphic records. This means we can reduce the work required to interface with object models and your website’s code.
